Jason Stoch, CPA, CA

Jason is an Australian expat living in the U.S. He is a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.) and Chartered Accountant (CAANZ). Jason spent several years living in New York City and now resides in San Diego.

When he first moved to the U.S., Jason quickly discovered that none of the traditional accounting firms were able to cater to his expat situation. To ensure he was compliant, he decided to file his own tax returns. When other Australian expats heard about Jason, they began reaching out to him for assistance. Word of mouth spread and eventually Uptrend Advisory was established.

Jason founded Uptrend Advisory and currently serves as the Managing Director. With over 10 years experience, he has developed his unique expertise of the Australian and U.S. tax systems. Jason has helped thousands of expats living in the U.S and abroad. He and his wider team are passionate about helping clients navigate the two countries' tax systems.
